Take a closer look! Before we worked with the Whitewater Creek community, the signs had taken on a dated appearance. Mounted to wooden posts that were beginning to show their ages, the street signs show around two decades’ worth of wear, tear, and exposure to the weather. Working with the Client on a Complete Signage Overhaul

The project began with a mapping of the signs that were currently on the property. Surveying existing signs and intersections meant that there would be no mix of outdated and new signs. Next, maps covering the community were created to assist in the evaluation process. About 80 signs were not just reviewed for essential exchanges, but there was also a need to eliminate redundant signage in some areas.

In other places, the community needed to add more signage for safety and wayfinding purposes. The effectiveness of directing street traffic and ensuring the safety of residents and visitors were paramount.

For the updated signs, we brought along new posts that feature elegant embellishments. Our technicians painted them black and added finials and ridges. They remind of the signage posts you would have seen in a Victorian neighborhood. Most importantly, the black posts contrast beautifully with the signs, some of which feature green lettering. We placed white print on black backgrounds for the street names, making them easy to read even after dark.

Now, with all the signage solutions in place, these products perfectly reflect the upscale look and feel of the area.
